A Lazy Sunday Brunch

This morning I got up, slapped some make-up on and ran outside to take some outfit snaps before the heavens opened (again). Oh, January how I love you.
Needless to say I was ruddy freezing and decided after setting my camera up that being inside was definitely a better option. I then had a thought that my general day to day happenings are rarely documented on my blog and I figured it might be nice to just share a snippet of my weekend with you, because y'know, we're friends and all that.

On Thursday evening Daniel promised to get up bright and early with me on the Friday - as I had work and he did not...jammy git. With this promise he included making me french toast (or eggy bread as we like to call it) and I have to say it was the best way I've started a workday week in a long while. This has clearly led on to a real obsession with said bread, and naturally I've had it each morning since.

Fresh orange juice, bacon, brown sauce, a cup of rosy lee (i.e. tea in my new favourite mug, that's from Next btw), and french toast - what better way to relax on a Sunday? Especially when your boyfriend makes it for you!

I love it meg this post is so different but in a good way it is so nice to see some pictures of your everyday life. Daniel is so nice making you breakfast. I do enjoy your outfit post but to see more post like this would be great. It must be so frustrating how quick it gets dark. These pictures are photographed beautifully. Now off to make something to eat as that breakfast has made me hungry.

Great post happy new year to you and Daniel

That mug is the best thing ever! And eggy bread is a definite favourite, although we always had it for dinner on a Sunday at Dad's house! Now I just need to teach Ed how to make it...
